In the current  year the banks have been mainly affected by the following factors:

• regulator's monetary and credit policy, which restricted liquidity and credit activities of the institutions;
• eroded quality of banks' working assets, which has been a reason for unprofitable performance of a number of banks;
• positive decisions on recapitalization of certain banks by the state;
• rising population's confidence to the banking system, and gradual backflow of population's funds to the sector.
