Insurance Sector: Can a total clean-up raise confidence?

The crisis has aggravated troubles in the Ukrainian insurance market. It was mainly associated with the fact that the insurance has not yet become a separate type of financial service. If we talk about voluntary insuring - they are often used for mitigation of tax contributions thus helping to optimize cash flows in the corporate sector. Many types of voluntary insuring in the retail segment have in fact become a distinctive feature of the gone lending boom. As for mandatory insurance of responsibility of vehicles' owners and a number of other types of insurance, the customers have to fulfill legislative requirements, not their own wills.
