Credit-Rating CEO has taken part in UBC's Business Strategies and Law show in which latest changes in the rating market has been discussed along with peculiarities of competetion in this segment and factors for building confidence in rating agencies.
It was noted that under decreased regulatory requirements for presence of mandatroy ratings, a market-driven demand for independent rating opinions has risen substantially. The confidence in rating agencies is based on their track records, and on their independence and impartiality of their judgements.
